Our Programs
Harm Reduction
Erie CARES is a community-based program initiated by Creative Restorations, INC, dedicated to addressing the ongoing opioid crisis in Erie County, and WNY.
Our mission is to provide "boots on the ground" comprehensive prevention, education, and harm reduction services to individuals and families affected by opioid use disorder while fostering a supportive and empathetic community environment.
We provide Narcan, Fentanyl/Xylazine test strips, and other harm reduction supplies-in the community, boots on the ground, weekly.
Call us now for free Narcan/Harm Reduction supplies, as well as free training on Narcan administration.
Basic Needs/ Support Groups
Creative Restorations INC’s Path to Freedom Pantry offers essential support, including food, clothing, hygiene items, and linkage to shelter, with hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: Monday 12pm-3pm, Wednesday 12pm-3pm, and Friday 3pm-6pm.
*With the support of our corporate sponsors Wegmans and FeedMore WNY, we also offer our Harvest of Hope giveaway on Saturdays. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday we provide fresh food to those in need outside/inside our offices at Trinity Episcopal Church, from 10am-2pm. On the 2nd and 4th Saturday we provide the same service at the Fredrick Douglas Towers at 210 Jefferson Ave.
Alongside these services, we are proud collaborators with NAMI. Every 4th Thursday from 6:30pm-8pm we are honored to co host their Family Support group.
Through partnerships with local organizations, we help individuals and families meet their basic needs while fostering a strong, supportive recovery community.
Family/Individual Peer Support from trained professionals!
Creative Restorations INC created Path to Freedom- a person-centered Recovery Coaching Program designed to support individuals/families, in the Buffalo, NY and surrounding rural areas, who are struggling with addiction.
Our program aims to provide personalized in person or online/telehealth coaching sessions and resources that empower individuals/families to overcome addiction, make positive changes in their lives, and achieve long-lasting recovery.
Community Reintegration/Family Reunification
Whether coming out of treatment or incarceration, we have staff to assist.
The Buffalo Re-entry and Recovery Program (BRRP) is our comprehensive re-entry initiative specifically designed to support incarcerated individuals struggling with addiction in their journey towards rehabilitation, reintegration, and recovery. Through a combination of evidence-based practices and personalized care, BRRP aims to address the unique needs of each participant, empowering them to rebuild their lives, re unite with their families, and successfully reintegrate into society.

We are a local, Buffalo NY based, 501c3 non-profit agency. We are the ONLY agency in NYS founded and operated by Peers with lived experience in addiction, incarceration, and recovery. This unique perspective allows Creative Restorations,INC staff to fully empathize and connect with our consumers. We provide person centered, “boots on the ground” , empathetic, quality, efficient, Care Coordination, Recovery Coaching and Harm Reduction services.
Our mission is to save lives, promote recovery, help curb the recidivism rates in our communities, and reunite families.
